Shahdosh Alam is one of the students who had entered the old library en masse as seen in the footage, after he says police started throwing tear gas shells and there was fear of the police entering campus. The library was the only area open in college, everything else was closed. He shows pics of his injuries allegedly inflicted by CRPF men on campus. He asks if there were rioters in their midst why have they not been caught yet.
Nayla had taken shelter in the new library where we haven't seen footage from. She says she hid there in the dark for hours with others as police entered the old library and beat students.
Delhi police also points to the footage that shows people flooding into the library, some seemingly with stones in hand. Having denied entering the library earlier, the police says they have the right to enter any institution in hot pursuit of rioters. But of course, there is also a clip showing the police attacking the CCTV camera, for which there has been no response.
