It is stressful to search for parking space in Brussels. Sometimes the machine for paying is not so close after I find parking. I was also afraid of losing the parking ticket and paying a huge fine. In most cases losing your ticket means paying a fee equivalent to a whole day's worth of parking.

Cycling is less stressful and wastes less time to find parking but sometimes I have to drive to ferry larger cargo, when it rains or to move around with family.

This day, the parking machine outside the Royal Palace in Brussels was broken so I needed an alternative. I was happy to find an app that reduced stress in parking payment.

This app is widely used in Europe (1,000 cities, 15 countries) and has more features that at this time I haven't explored.

I'm just relieved for now that I have stopped participating in the peculiar habit of compulsively checking if i still have the ticket in my pocket.
