Frequently clients come to us thinking they have a probe with crystal dropout. This is where the crystals aren’t functioning properly for some reason or other. Genuine crystal dropout is a more serious problem to fix. Not impossible to repair, but on the more serious end of the spectrum.

But here is the little-known truth which we frequently uncover when we complete our comprehensive tests and analysis…

More often than not, it is far simpler hence easier and lower-cost to repair. Usually, it is air under the membrane due to delamination.

This is where air is sealed in, under the probe end membrane, blocking the crystals messaging. Within our brand-new UK-based laboratory, we can repair this for you, by removing the old membrane and professionally reapplying a new one.
