Two police officers were buried in the central Ukrainian city of Poltava in November 2014. Twenty-nine-year-old Vitali Kuzmenko and 24-year-old Oleksandr Mtjchuk, both members of the "Poltava" Battalion, were killed during a shelling campaign in Debeltseve near the city of Donetsk.
The ongoing military conflict between separatists in eastern Ukraine and the Ukrainian government has claimed over 4,000 people, according to low estimates.
