Last time , I had uploaded a Video of Madgaon - LTT AC DD which was captured in monsoon , featuring it's elongated avtar . Actually , I was planning of making a compilation of three videos regarding the same train , but unfortunately I didn't find the video , I was searching through my collection . Now since I have finally found that video , here's a duo compilation featuring THEN and NOW .

Last year , I got an update of a Kurla WDG 3A hauling the Madgaon Double Decker Express . While it was making it's way in Up direction , I tried not to miss this chance of spotting the Mainline ALCo of Kurla as the train was running pretty on time . The second video was shot in the month of February , when my SemiFast Local was halted between Thane and Mulund and the DD overtook my train which was waiting for Clearance to negotiate the crossover from Slow to Fast Line . After Monsoon , Central Railway continued to run the Double Decker with additional AC Coaches , although it wasn't as long as the crazy combination seen during the Ganpati Rush .

Seen here is 11086 Madgaon Junction - Mumbai Lokmanya Tilak Terminus AC DOUBLE DECKER EXPRESS led by 14850 Kurla (CLA : CR) WDG 3A in first clip and 11470 Kalyan (KYN : CR) WDM 3D in the second clip .

The Kurla WDG 3A seen in this was my last spotting of this particular loco , as all the Kurla based WDG 3As are now booked to be sent to DLW in order to be converted into Electric Locos . Sad to know these MainLine approved Kurla ALCos would end up in such a tragic way and we would never get to see them again .
