Oftentimes life happens. We have a dental emergency. What do you do if you have a dental emergency? What do you do if you have a tooth get knocked out, chipped? Or if you're in pain? Well, you can call us and you can call us 24 hours a day, seven days a week, and we have a doctor on call. You can call our office at 899-1112 and we'll get you worked right in. If you're in pain, we'll ask you when you can be here.
If you're in a situation where you or a child or somebody knocks a tooth out of their mouth, it is best to get that tooth as quickly as you can into milk, Gatorade or hold it in your mouth. If it's your own tooth or somebody, you don't mind putting their tooth in your mouth, but if you can keep it in those mediums, it will help the tooth adhere back to when we put it back in and will help it be more successful and the odds will go up significantly of it staying there. So give us a call if you have a dental emergency.
If you're in pain, one of the great things to do is take ibuprofen. Ibuprofen is the best medicine over the counter for dental pain. But here again, feel free to give our office a call 899-1112.
