(c) 2006. Orang Utan Republik Education Initiative. First travel documentary produced by OUREI featuring OUREI Ambassador Angelina Sondakh, a former Miss Indonesia and member of Parliament. Angelina and her team travel to North Sumatra to visit the orangutans of Bukit Lawang near Bohorok in the Gunung Leuser National Park. She later visits the quarantine station at Sibolangit where confiscated excaptive orangutans are prepared for reintroduction. She later travels to Aceh Tenggara to visit Ketambe Research Station. During her journey, Angelina meets with school children, government nature officers, conservationists and tourists.
