Pack your bags, grab your board, hiking boots and passport and join us as we head to the South Island of New Zealand. Our base is Queenstown where the dramatic Southern Alps meet the rich deep blue waters of Lake Wakatipu.
We explore rustic country estates, back streets and scenic roads that hug the steep mountainside and offer epic views over unimaginable beauty. Yearning for the coast we road trip down to Riverton – the southern most surf town of New Zealand. Driving through snow covered farmland we reach the wild and rugged coastline to see the clouds part for a beautiful sunrise. We tour around to Colac Bay and on to Orepuki, a quaint fishing village where we can see the snow covered mountains across the rapid rumbling waters of the bay.
Over the next few days Helen and a few of us explore Treble cone and the spectacular Southern Alps with a heli trip. The stunning vista is mind blowing – we watch in awe as Helen rides through the pristine powder making fresh lines like an artist taking a brush to a clean canvas. Her love of life, graceful athleticism and positive spirit igniting the adventurer in all of us. #letsjustgosomewhere
