Police has taken interest in a video that has been trending on social media- that of a man caning a pupil at Marto Nursery School in Kamwokya, Kampala.
The five-year-old Jeremiah Makubuya who is in middle class was being punished by his father for not going to school as instructed. When the video was first posted, the assumption was that it was a teacher punishing the child, but teachers told NTV that this is the child’s parent. Police found Jeremiah loitering in Mulago and took him to school.
