Built for T Smith & Sons, showmen, in 1965 by Hayes Fabrication, this Skid is a thrilling ride. Hurtling around the central paybox at high speed, riders can swing the cars wildly in a skidding motion by operating a pedal. Noisy and fast, and beautifully and intensely decorated by celebrated painter Fred Fowle, the Skid is a popular ride.
