I received a mystery parcel from a dear friend of mine, and I was not prepared for what was inside. At first glance, the rugged 35mm point and shoot was just another 80s/90s design throwback with it's 'Tonka' styling.
Enter the Konica 'Genba Kontaku' point and shoot 35mm film camera.
After researching the history of the camera I found out that it was produced in Japan for the construction industry, with the intention of documenting building works. 'Genba Kontaku' translates to 'Site Supervisor' FASCINATING!
After getting to grips with the camera I went out for a walk with some film loaded to test it out. There are sample images in the video, as well as a walkthrough and my initial thoughts.
