BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE is very famous recipe all in the world .BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE RESTAURANT STYLE is very simple . HOMEMADE BUTTER CHICKEN RECIPE is spicy but very delicious recipe.
INGREDIENT* step 1 --- chicken 1 kg or 2 lb. --- yogurt 1 cup ---
lemon 1/2 --- butter 2 tbsp. -----
SPICES FOR CHICKEN MARINATION * red chili powder 1 tsp. ---
salt 1 tsp. --- gram masala powder 1 tbsp. --- coriander powder 1 tbsp. --- sugar 1 tsp. --- cumin seeds 1 tsp. --- ginger powder 1 tsp. -
garlic powder 1 tsp .---- turmeric powder 1/2 tsp. --- food color orange , red or yellow 1/4 tsp. ----
STEP 2 * INGREDIENT FOR GRAVY MASALA * onion 1 large ----
tomatoes 4 large ---- cream milk 1/2 cup --- almond 1/4 cup ----
butter 200 g --- oil 1 tbsp.--- fresh coriander 1/4 cup. --- green chili 2
SPICES FOR GRAVY * red chili powder 1 tbsp. --- salt 1 tsp. ----
gram masala powder 1 tsp. --- dry methi 1 tbsp. ----
EP 1 : The first set of ingredients you would need for this is...
1) Chicken 1kg
2) Yogurt 1cup
3) Butter 2 tbsp
4) Lemon juice 1/2
5) Butter chicken masala (you can purchase it from store or you can simply make it at home)
To make the masala at home you'll need : Garam masala powder, Corrinder powder, Cumin seeds/Cumin powder, Red chilli powder, Salt according to your taste, Ginger powder, Garlic powder, Sugar (all 1tsp), Turmeric powder (1/2tsp) and lastly you can add food color (1/4tsp) red or orange if you wish to.
MARINATE : Now add all the above ingredients into the chicken and marinate it and refrigerate for half an hour to 1 hour.
STEP 2 : After an hour, take the marinated chicken out of the fridge and shallow fry or bake the chicken. If you prefer to shallow fry then you need to fry it for atleast 15 to 20mins. Make sure it should be cooked atleast 70-80%
Once its done, keep it aside.
STEP 3 : Now take a blender jar and add 1/4 cup of cashew or soaked almond (remove the skin) or you can add both of equal quantity and make a fine paste, and keep it aside in a cup.
STEP 4 : The next set of ingredients you'll need here is...
1) 1 Large Onion
2) 4 Large Tomatoes
3) Fresh Cream according to you taste.
4) Cashew Almond Paste
5) Butter - 200gms
6) Oil - 1tbsp
7) Corrinder Leaves
8) Spices (Redchilli powder, Garam masala powder, Dry fenugreek leaves, and Salt)
METHOD : Take a sauce pan, heat a little, add oil and half butter of the given quantity, then add the chopped onions, saute till it becomes light golden color, now add the chopped tomatoes and the dry spices and add little water, saute a bit, then cover the pan and let it cook for atleast 7-8mins till the tomatoes get mashy.
Once done, turn off the flame and let it cool down. Then transfer this sauce into a blender jar and blend it into a thick paste, or you can simply use a hand blender if you want.
Now transfer the blended sauce again into the same pan, switch on the flame, and add the remaining butter and then add the fried chicken in it and saute it for 5-6mins, then add cream and the prepared cashew almond paste. Add water, saute and let it cook for 10mins.
Once done, turn off the flame. Plate it and garnish it with some fresh chopped corrinder leaves and Voila butter chicken is ready!
