Black people have historically had low suicide rates, but recent studies document a troubling increase in suicides among young people, especially Black girls.

Dr. Rhonda C. Boyd, psychologist in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, joins Charles Blow on “Prime” to discuss the suicide cases.
