In this watercolor workshop, we will be celebrating spring with a fun session all about the flowers that are blooming in our spring gardens, like tulips and daffodils! The techniques we practice will also lend themselves well to a wide variety of botanical forms.
This is a great one for beginners or anyone looking to improve their botanical painting skills! If you’re brand new, we recommend watching the replay of our last session, Winter Botanicals, before jumping into this session.
Supplies needed for this class:
– #6 and #2 round brushes
– watercolor paint (pan set or tubes)
– practice watercolor paper
– watercolor pencil (optional)
– two cups of water
Leana Fischer is the artist behind May We Fly. She discovered her love for painting in 2013 after leaving a job in architecture – the online doors of May We Fly were opened in 2014 as a place to share her artwork with family and friends. Her artwork is made to celebrate the wonder of the little things and notice the beauty in every day life. She paints what she sees in the hope that others might also get a glimpse of the beauty in their own lives and of their own stories.
Leana works mainly with watercolor because it is what feels most natural in her hand. It has a language all its own, one that she is certain she will be learning for a lifetime.
This class is suitable for ALL skill levels.
