Loch Lyon, one of the most remote lochs in Perthshire, Scotland
To access it you need to take a narrow road through the scenic Glen Lyon.
This was on my 'list to do' for while. Not much of the visibility and the wind gales made a truly epic trip.
Make sure you know your limits when planning a trip here. It's far from everywhere, no phone signal, a truly remote place. Know your limits, respect the community, simply make sure you nobody needs to come and get you.
A very scenic venue, a several bays to hide from the wind. Great place for walks or gravel cycling.
A true gem of Perthshire.
