In this video I will show you the fastest way to walk to the platform without having to wait for hours and without having to buy a ticket.
All year round, tourists face the long queues, under rain or intense sun, to ride this amazing Lisbon landmark until the top, to enjoy the wonderful views over Downtown Lisbon, the Castle of Sao Jorge, Rossio Square, Chiado Streets and many other points of interest in Lisbon.
However, it is possible to go up to the platform without paying the ticket, as the elevator connects downtown Lisbon to the Chiado district.
I already published a video a few months ago explaining how to use another lift for free but lately that lift has been out of service.
