[ Ссылка ] presents: Boyle's Law Experiment
Boyle's balloon test? - Science experiment for kids!
REQUIREMENTS
A 50ml syringe
A small sized baloon
Thread
WHAT TO DO
First trap a small amount of air in the baloon and tie a knot. Place the bulb in the syringe
WHAT HAPPENS
When we place the bulb inside the syringe without squeezing the piston the ball remains in its same same due to the normal atmospheric pressure. The moment we close the outlet of the syringe and squeeze the piston the bulb becomes smaller under increased pressure.
WHY THIS HAPPENS
The baloon remains the same size when the pressure decreases and the volume increases. But when pressure increases the volume decreases therefore making the baloon compress to a smaller size. Boyle's law describes the inversely proportional relationship between the absolute pressure and volume of a gas.
