Welcome to week 6 of pregnancy!
This week, baby's head is forming! Jaw and cheekbones are forming, as well as little dimples on the sides of head that will become ears. Baby’s bottom half is still something more like a tail than legs, and their heart is starting to form four chambers, as well as other organs that are starting to develop at this time.
For expectant mothers, you may be starting to feel some of the classic first trimester symptoms of frequent urination, heartburn, fatigue, and nausea. Roxanne explains what is happening in your body to cause these symptoms and what you may expect these early weeks.
Additionally, Gina shares about her increase in nausea and fatigue, her plan to return to more consistent workouts when she is feeling a bit better, and what measures she has taken to ease her anxiety about the progression of this pregnancy after a history of loss. Both Gina and Roxanne talk about the prevalence of breast/nipple sensitivity at this time and discuss how that can affect you if you are still nursing a child at this time.
