Impressive for all the right reasons this large Soviet era 14ct gold Amber ring is large and striking and perfect for those who like a statement ring!

Crafted in or around the 1970’s from 14ct rose gold or what we sometimes see referred to as ‘pink gold’ as the mix of alloys used in Russia favour a warmer/pinker tone to the gold which frankly suits the glowing rich Amber rings perfectly.

Set with a large Amber cabochon measuring 2.3cm x 1.4cm, highly domed and of a colour that is reminiscent of warm luminous dark Cognac!

Bezel set with a looped claw also to either end to wide inverted tapering shoulders with just a hint of embellishments to a comfortable flat shank.

Hallmarked to the outside of the shank, typical for Russian jewellery, with a makers mark and the Hammer and Sickle in side a Star and 583 for 14ct Russian gold.
