A fine guitar solo from Leif de Leeuw, when he and Sem Jansen guested with the house band, during the SENA European Guitar Awards 2018, hosted for the third time at the Gebouw-T venue, in Bergen op Zoom, The Netherlands on Thursday, April 12th, 2018. Joe Satriani is the 2018 SENA European Guitar Award winner.

Leif de Leeuw, guitarist and founder of the Leif de Leeuw band, already won several music prizes from an early age. He won the Sena Young Talent Guitar Award (2009 and 2013) twice, and in 2016 he was voted the best blues (rock) guitarist of the Benelux by the readers of the magazine 'De Gitarist' . For 2017 he has been nominated twice for this award; as 'Best Guitarist Benelux' and 'Best Blues (rock) / country / folk guitarist'. The band, consisting of Leif de Leeuw (guitar), Tim Koning (drums), Boris Oud (bass guitar) and Sem Jansen (guitar and vocals), also won several prizes. At the end of 2014 they won the Dutch Blues Challenge and in 2015 they were named 'Best Band 2015' by the European Blues Awards. The band did get two blues prizes, but they are not limited by musical limits. Multiple styles such as funk, soul, roots, fusion, country and rock can be heard in their music.
