My name is Buck I'm with Fjallraven and today I'm gonna be doing a little demonstration on how to re-apply the wax to your Fjallraven garment. whats really interesting is that Fjallraven uses this g1000 material which is 65 percent recycled polyester and 35 percent cotton. The pants come infused with Greenland Wax which can be applied depending on the weather conditions you intend on encountering. Wax can be re-applied to beef up the water proof repellency , which adds the durability and timeline of how long you expect to have these pants. You can use an iron, a blow dryer, heat gun and even a camp stove to re-apply the wax on the trail. The heat melts the wax and absorbs back in to the g1000 fabric to increase the waterproof repelency . Hit the knees... I wax these pants top to bottom in about 10 minutes.
