This is not one of my usual #memorablemoments in #gaming as it’s not really an iconic exchange that I absolutely loved. A friend asked me to collate a few #story #gameplay #moments from #forspoken that I liked so he could “get an idea” and see if he is going to buy it (guess he trusts my taste in games - for some reason). BUT As I owe him 20 quid I figured “why not”. Not a lot to pick from as I’ve only played the first 3 hours and another 3 when the #demo came out (we don’t talk about the 3 hours I lost playing the #game initially that I deleted due to audio de-sync grrrr). There are a few exchanges/story beats I have enjoyed with #frey and #cuff (Frey playing a classic fish out of water in #athia is pretty much where some of the better dialogue comes from in #forspoken). I’d say in these moments it’s great but out in the world… it gets a bit tiresome.

This is Square Enix's "Forspoken" - a game surrounding protagonist "Frey Holland" who is transported to the world of "Athia" where she discovers and uses and array of magical powers to survive the tyrannical rule of "Tantas" (our bad guys) and find her way back home to New York. The game is an action/roleplaying game using various spells, parkour systems and is purely single player. "Forspoken" released worldwide on January 24th 2023 by Luminous Productions and is directed by Takeshi Aramaki & Takefumi Terada. Square Enix acted as its publisher.
