Here we show you our breeding flock at the beginning of lambing season. We raise Katahdin hair sheep. We know they are very instinctual sheep and hardy. but to have a lamb only 8 hours old already stomping at me to get away was astounding.

Normally we do a better job of separating all rams and ram lambs during the growing season and aim for lambs mid March to mid April in our area. that didn't happen this year so we are trying to make the best of it.
