This weeks spotlight is on Keeble’s Hut and Riverside Behrs Flat campground.
The Campground is located between Thredbo and Khancoban in Kosciuszko National Park,

A peaceful spot nestled beside the Swampy Plains River, It offers views of the Snowy Mountains, historic huts (Keeble and Geehi), fishing, hose riding and exploring, 4WD recommended.
There are no camping fees at this campground but a $6 Booking fee and Park entry fees applies.

Sites are unmarked, unpowered, suitable for Tent and Camper trailer, toilet, picnic tables, barbecue facilities are available.
It's a great campground and well worth a look.

We have also chosen to visit the Mt Kosciuszko, the highest peak at 2,228m it offers incredible views from the top of Australia.
There are multiple trails to the summit but we have chosen the 13km return hike starting at the top of the Thredbo chairlift.

The hike was relatively easy with a well-designated hiking path and a gentle ascent, takes roughly 4-6 hours for the round trip.
