One of these women was a viking warrior. A female warrior who for a long time has been believed to be a Viking could really be a Slavonic female warrior, who over 1000 years ago had migrated from present day Poland to Denmark.
The discovery has come during debates about the existence of the female warriors during the age of the Vikings and the roles they played. Researchers were excited when they did further tests that backed up the claims this viking was a female.
