Here is my explanation of why Chase McLaughlin missed the game winning field goal. All night he was kicking from left hash mark with same kicking angle. Suddenly first time in tense moment he was required to kick from right hash mark. Maybe not enough practice from that point and new angle required to make the kick. Kickers are creatures of habit.
