Today on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra, we're going a test fit of the Inno Fork Lock III. This is a roof-mounted bike rack. That part number is INA391. We already have our bike attached to our rack. So we're going to start by showing you how we attach it. In the back here, we've got our ratcheting strap that's going to secure our bike down in place. We're going to make sure that it's far enough away from our spokes so they don't damage them.
And we're just going to release that. And up at the front we have a locking cover. This is going to prevent theft and tampering of your bike and your rack. So move that out of the way, pull on the black handle to open up our skewer, and we'll use the knob on the far side to loosen and tighten that skewer. So if you loosen it up just a bit, we can remove our bike and set it off to the side. And with the bike out of the way, I always suggest that you replace everything so you don't lose or damage any of it.
And we'll take a look at how our back is secured here. So we have a plastic bracket with two thumb screws that are going to loosen and tighten around our crossbar. The great thing about our crossbar is that, or about the bracket is that it does fit around different style crossbars, like the arrow ones have here, or even round, square, or elliptical, and most of your factory bars. Up at the front we remove our cover once more. You'll see our cam lever here, loosen that and that's going to loosen that metal bracket here. Around on the other side, you'll see that cam cover is attached to a bolt which has a square nut on the bottom. And this goes up and down the length of the bolt to accommodate different size crossbars you may have.
So we have that in place where we need it, we'll place on that metal bracket, and we'll close it down and our bike rack is secure. And we want to make sure we close up that cover so we don't suffer from theft or tampering. So that's going to be our completed look at the Inno Fork Lock III roof mounted bike rack, part number INA391 on our 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Here on our test course, we'll start by going through the slalom. This is going to show us the side-to-side action which simulates turning corners or evasive maneuvers. Once we get to the alternating speed bumps, we'll see the twisting action. This will simulate hitting a curb or pothole, or driving over uneven pavement. Once we get to the full speed bumps, we'll see the up and down action. This will be just like driving in and out of a parking lot, garage, or driveway..
