Once I filled the tank full (for the first time since I got the bike) I found that every once in a while when I put the bike on it's side stand it would leak gas out of the left carb overflow hose. After a little research I found that the vacuum actuated fuel petcock is often the culprit and that a rebuild might help.

I bought my kit from a local dealer that worked on a lot of old bikes. Fortunately you are not limited to looking for a 425-specific part as Suzuki used the same petcock on lots of their bikes. The one I used was for a GS750B.
Brand was K&L, Model #18-4354, "PETCOCK REPAIR KIT SUZ"
I paid $24.95 +tax for mine at the shop.
Amazon has it for $35.78
