The International Monetary Fund (#IMF) announced on Wednesday that it had raised its forecast for China's economic growth this year to 5%. IMF First Deputy Managing Director Gita Gopinath said that China's strong GDP growth in the first quarter and recent policies are the main reasons for the upward revision of expectations.
