Baey Yam Keng, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Sustainability and Environment, wants your ideas for the #DBSFoundation x NEA Hungry for Change Challenge to develop pilot solutions #TowardsZeroFoodWaste. The pressing issue needs real solutions as food waste and loss account for up to 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions. In fact, Singapore generated 23% more food waste in 2021 than the year before, at a whopping 817,000 tonnes.
