Today I have a quickie for you! ah, yes a quick recipe that it will literally take you less than 2 minutes to watch. I will show you how to make your own Adobo. Having your homemade Adobo can be beneficial to you. We don’t even know how long ago this product was made. We must think about our health, and we want to be healthier. I have created my own version of Adobo and I have also included some variations to the different variety of adobos. I usually use the red cap (the one with black pepper) so I use this one as my base recipe. Of course, you can adjust to your liking; half, double, or even triple this recipe. Make sure to use moderate salt ok, I don’t want you to have a heart attack now.
Also, there are some states or countries that these products might not be easily accessible, so making it ourselves, saving gas, time and stress, just to try and find this product. Enjoy!!
Ingredients:
Blue Cap Adobo – No Pepper
1/2 Tablespoon Salt
2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
2 Tablespoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Turmeric
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
Red Cap Adobo – With Black Pepper
1/2 Tablespoon Salt
2 Tablespoon Garlic Powder
2 Tablespoon Onion Powder
1 teaspoon Turmeric
1/2 teaspoon Oregano
1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
Green Cap Adobo – With Cumin
Use Red Cap (Base Recipe) and add
1 teaspoon Cumin
Yellow Cap Adobo – With Lemon Pepper
Use Red Cap (Base Recipe) and add
1 teaspoon Lemon Pepper
Light Orange Cap – With Coriender and Annato
Use Red Cap (Base Recipe) and add 1 teaspoon of Sazon (I have a homemade recipe as well)
Orange Cap – With Bitter Orange –
Use Red Cap Base Recipe and add 1 Tbsp Bitter Orange Juice to marinade
Pink Cap – With Saffron - Use Red Cap (Base Recipe) and add ½ teaspoon Saffron
Brown Cap – Hot - Use Red Cap (Base Recipe) and add and add Hot sauce to your seasoning (to taste)
