Prompt #1: Write a scene or story with the line: “I hate surprises.”

Prompt #2: Your character discovers something familiar in a surprising space - like their childhood teddy bear in a tree or the locket they thought they lost around the neck of a TV show host.

Prompt #3: Something they’ve been ignoring or holding down bubbles up to the surface and your character says or does something that surprises everyone - especially themselves. Maybe it even surprises you!
