The Douglas Outdoors 8 weight SKY rod puts the wood to a nice little jack that out pursued the snook. Angler Christian Bacasa has fun keeping this jack out of the mangroves and on the reel. Then good a good look at the mug of that jack just before it is released back into the wild to be caught again.
Jacks are another species beyond, bonefish, permit, snook, barracuda and tarpon that can be caught out of Blue Bonefish Lodge in San Pedro Belize. During this last trip, we were thoroughly impressed by the capabilities of the Douglas Outdoors SKY rods. Supple but with plenty of backbone to horse fish when needed.
