The Luxury Ball is the rarest Pokéball in generation 3 as it only appears in a few places.

Despite it's rarity, the luxury ball doesn't do much as its only purpose is to up the friendship of the Pokémon it captures, which is not a massive benefit by any means.

To make matters worse, the luxury ball is no more likely to successfully capture a Pokémon than a standard Poké ball, making it extremely likely to just break and do nothing even after all the effort you'll have to go through to get it.

Rather than complain about this insanity, I have decided to embrace it. I have come up with a challenge to use the luxury ball to capture one of Pokémon Emerald's most powerful Pokémon.
