Hello everyone and thanks for tuning in to today's video. We're going to look at the weather for the next ten to fourteen days for this video. Day ten will take us to the eighteenth of October and we'll be able to extend out beyond that with the extended GFS and ECM ensembles (they run to around a couple of weeks) - We'll have a look at the CFS V2 for the next four weeks taking us to the start of November.
High pressure is in control of the weather now and will remain in charge for the next week to ten days but despite starting off as a warm ridge, the position of the anticyclone is likely to bring cooler northeasterly winds early next week... could we start seeing the first night frosts of the season next week??? Looking ahead to the second half of October high pressure might break down with lower pressure moving in from off the Atlantic but it's not guaranteed... will high pressure break down in the second half of October or not???
