A parliamentary bill aimed at reducing the number of people injured in bars and clubs has been put before the House of Commons.
Wrexham MP put forward the 10 Minute Rule Bill -- a parliamentary procedure for MPs to suggest legislation - after being asked by a constituent to help her campaign to promote the use of polycarbonate bottles and glasses in bars and clubs.
Speaking in the Commons, Mr Lucas told how his constituent, Nicola Roberts, had been in a Wrexham club last year when, through, no fault of her own, she was hit by a glass bottle, which shattered and left her needing 17 stitches.
