Construction of a new roundabout to replace the SH30/SH5 intersection in Rotorua will boost safety for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians.

The purpose of this project is to replace a high risk intersection, ranked as the fourth riskiest in the country due to the high crash rate, with a new roundabout, reducing the risk of death and serious injury crashes.
