Porsche 991.1 GT3 Oil Change. Process should be the same for 991.1 GT3RS
Tools needed:
74MM Filter wrench (14 flute)
T30 Torx socket / bit
8MM Allen Wrench
Torque Wrench
Oil drain pan
Paper Towels
Rubber Gloves
Jackpoint stands
Ramps

8qts 0w40 Mobil1 or equivalent Synthetic Oil

New aluminum oil plug washers
Oil change can be done in about an hour if you have all the tools, that is with a ½ hour for drain time.
1. Remove engine cover with T30 Torx
2. I ended up using 8MM allen wrench as my socket would not fit for the Oil Pan Plug. I did cut a pice of tube for a breaker bar to help loosen this plu with the allen wrench.
3. Removed the Oil Tank plug with regular 8mm socket
4. Removed Oil Filter with 74MM Filter Wrench, U Joint flex head and 6” extension
5. Let oil drain from plugs for about 30 minutes
6. Reinstalled oil pan plug with new washer and tightened snug since I could not get a torque wrench on this one. (was supposed to be 30ft/lbs - 360 in/lbs)
7. Reinstalled oil tank plug with new washer and tightened to 22 ft/lbs - 264 in/lbs.
8. Installed new Oil filter and torqued to 15 ft/lbs - 180 in/lbs
9. Filled oil 7.25 quarts of Mobil 0w40 (got me 2 notches from top of oil fill line)
10. Started engine and checked for leaks
11. Reinstalled Engine Tray (torque spec is 7.5 ft/lbs - 90 in/lbs) but i just snugged them
12. Reset oil light with iCarsoft
