All over the world, companies spend billions of dollars on commercials for kids and adults spouting the benefits of cereals as part of a 'balanced breakfast'. One thing I noticed while making this video, is that EVERY commercial always shows the cereal paired up with fruit and toast and a drink. The cereal is never by itself...it is always a "PART" of a balanced breakfast. The commercials never say what the other parts are, but I always see fruit, toast and a drink. Don't worry if you don't know them all, I tried several countries to see what their top selling cereals are so I could include ones from around the world, and I learned a lot myself! It is just for fun! How many did you get right? How many have you never heard of? I also found it funny that decades ago, it was all about taste, and everything had SUGAR in the name. With the recent health movement, most cereals have reverted to 'grain' sounding names. Do you have a cereal that was a favorite as a kid? I always like Pops.
