Speaking on Delhi (Amendment) Bill, 2023, Congress Leader Karti P Chidambaram on August 03 said that the Government can pass any law in the Lok Sabha as they have a majority in the Lok Sabha.
Karti P Chidambaram said, “The Govt has the majority in the Lower House so they can pass any law. The numbers are on their side. What they did today was anti-federal and colonial giving power to the unelected officer whom they would nominate. They are using tools to enter into the administration where they don’t have the political capital.”
