"Featuring current and former members of countless Bordeaux, France-based bands (Gasmask Terrör, Naatlo Sutila, Bombardement, etc.) 𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙎𝙋𝙃𝙊𝙍𝙀 started out of the boredom and frustration brought by the Covid crisis in 2022 with the intent to play brutal, angry, stripped down d-beat raw hardcore punk in the vein of Swedish bands à la Skitslickers/early Anti-Cimex and recent curators of the genre (Bloodkrow Butcher...). After a 8-song demo tape in 2023, Phosphore returns with 3 new brutal tracks recorded by Stephane Miollan (Bombardement...) and mixed/mastered by Jonas Blakklodge (Skitkids, Infernöh, Larma...), with lyrics in French addressing colonialism, harsh political treatment leading to radical and angry responses (poke Luigi Mangione), and how being apolitical makes it easier for the dominant class to exploit us. The one-sided flexi 7" comes in a screenprinted die-cut sleeve including a lyric insert."
