In this video I am talking about the Vola Guitars OZ JRM.
The OZ JRM is the signature model of Julien Rosenthal from the band The Atlantic Chronicles. Although Julien plays metal in his band, he is also an educator and provides content for a French guitar magazine so he needed a guitar that could do everything he could throw at it... and Vola built it!
The OZ JRM is a HSS guitar with a 5 way switch. The bridge humbucker can be set to coil split, series or parallel and the neck pickup can be added to any position with the help of a button to add it into the circuit. This means you can get some unique tonal options from this guitar that aren't usually available from a conventional Strat style guitar.
In the video I have the Vola Guitars OZ JRM plugged into a @Blackstaramps Studio 10 6L6. The amp is running via the Two Notes Torpedo Captor X. The overdrive in the video is from the Red Seven Alkemy Overdrive.
