UNMC faculty, staff and students recently evaluated the latest in simulation technology under consideration for the Dr. Edwin G. & Dorothy Balbach Davis Global Center, which will house UNMC's iEXCEL initiative. Attendees took part in hands-on demonstrations of some of the most advanced simulators available using virtual reality, haptics and real patient cases to provide learners immersive training opportunities across a variety of procedures including arthroscopy, laparoscopy, endoscopy and bronchoscopy.
