Ilysia VR is a brand new VR game that looks poised to deliver an authentic VR MMORPG to gamers looking for a World of Warcraft VR style experience, today I'm having a look at some early Ilysia VR alpha 2 gameplay (running natively on the Quest 2) and my first impressions are very positive. Even in it's early state Ilysia has tapped into the aesthetic, themes & systems that I personally love to see in an MMORPG, with an art style heavily reminiscent of WoW, a fairly robust character creator, wonderfully thought out UI choices and a skill tree that lets you grow melee, ranged & arcane abilities this might just be the VR MMO I've been waiting for and the game which hopefully entices a large player base in for hours upon hours of questing.

If you're looking a VR MMORPG / Quest 2 MMORPG then we're soon to have a few options as the already established and very popular Zenith will finally be getting some competition in the form of Ilysia, competition is of course a great thing and it's good to see both games carving out their own unique art styles & gameplay systems (with Zenith taking on a more cybernetic/sword art approach versus Ilysia's fantasy, magic & WoW aesthetic). Which one will be the best VR MMO? That's likely to come down to personal preference but for me I already feel right at home with the systems and world of Ilysia and can't wait to see how it grows. This Ilysia Quest 2 gameplay was captured natively on the Quest 2, the game will also be available for PC VR at launch.
