In the first of a series of interactive tutorials, we will explore SchedulOpt's scheduling optimization features by creating a simple round-robin tournament that requires several scheduling rules.
In our example, we have the following conditions:
- 8 Teams
- Each team plays each other team exactly once
- 7 game dates
- 7 Games per team.
We will also want to meet some basic scheduling rules, such as:
- Teams must play either 3 Home, 4 Away; or 4 Home, 3 Away games
- Teams cannot play more than two consecutive home (or away) games.
- One team must play a specific opponent in game one.
Follow along as we add in Teams and Dates, define our Tournament Type, set up our Scheduling Rules, and finally review our Final Schedule!
