I decided to give new life to 15 year old cabinets and wanted to experiment with Metallic Paint. I tried with Krylon Metallic Paint ("Oil Rubbed Bronze") and turned out very good.
Do not use brush with Metallic paint, it will result in streaks and coverage is very bad. Once i switched to roller, it was fantastic. Hope this helps with your remodeling.
