Sweden always bring some noise to the show and this year was no different with three examples of the Gripen coming over with one as a spare and one in the static ark. The flying example makes a great display thanks to its outstanding roll rate and rate of climb. The clouds were still lingering about on the Sunday but the display was still brilliant and provided us with plenty of reheat to echo around the Airfield. The Gripen is a mighty Aircraft and considering its size and cost its no wonder its become popular to air arms. Sweden have made some feared Aircraft in the past and this adds to the list for sure.
