Every April 21st, we celebrate the most influential woman in Indonesia's history, ibu Raden Ajeng Kartini, or as we like to call her ibu Kartini. Kartini fought for the Indonesian women's rights especially for education, and we thank her today for the opportunity for all of us to be able to study and pursue our careers in Indonesia.

One of her famous quotes says, “Habis Gelap, Terbitlah Terang” which means “After the Darkness, the Light Shall Come”.

What a beautiful reminder for us all! Especially at this time that seems like darkness.

Thank you Ibu Kartini for your hard work to empower the women of Indonesia with education. To this day and forever more, we shall be indebted to you.
