Pilau has a wonderful balance of flavors. It is a festive dish, which is never missing during special occasions or events. It's made with rice cooked in a well-seasoned broth of Meat or Chicken.
𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐒 (𝐅𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐕𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐨)
- Make ready 3 Onions 3 Cups of rice, Chicken 1 Spoonful of Masala, and Salt.
𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐓𝐎 𝐏𝐑𝐄𝐏𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐂𝐇𝐈𝐂𝐊𝐄𝐍 𝐏𝐈𝐋𝐀𝐔
1. Cut your chicken into smaller pieces and boil
2. Rinse and deep fry your chicken in hot cooking oil and put aside
3. Fry your onion till slightly golden-brown together with garlic
4. Add masala and your well-washed rice and continue mixing as you add the fried chicken pieces.
5. Add 6 cups of water to match the 3 cups of rice (1 cup of rice = 2 cups of water)
6. Add salt (to your liking - really important)
7. Let it boil for some minutes till the water dries up, as you slowly reduce the heat
8. You can decide to garnish it (with coriander). Serve while still hot.
