► What you need to pay attention to when choosing lipos for a race whoop:
(for FULL SEND RACING)

● Dimensions → The lipo should fit your lipo holder. Very long lipos tend to be damaged in a crash
● C-Rate → I prefer the highest c-rate I can find
● Internal resistance → lowest possible (highest c-rate)
● Weight → I prefer lowest weight possible (best power to weight ratio)
● Plug → I prefer Betafpv BT2.0 or GNB A30 (same plug, compatible)
● Availability in your home country → I don`t care, I need the best possible lipo for my racing
● Circle of friends → Maybe you want the same lipos as your pilot friends? So that in an "emergency" you can fly with the other person's lipos

⚠️‼️⚠️ My recommendations for maximum power (75mm whoop): Dogcom 1S 550mah 150C, GNB 1S HV 380mah 90C, GNB 1S HV 530mah 90C
For good balance between flight time and power: Betafpv Lava 1S HV 450mah 75C
For maximum flight time: Betafpv Lava 1S HV 550mah 75C

⚠️‼️⚠️ Never ever fly a Lipo below 3V under load! This severely limits the lifespan and causes the lipos to swell. Disarm immediately when the voltage is around 3.0/3.1V! Don't try to land and flare out to land. Because that often brings the voltage just below 3V. After the flight the voltage should recover to at least 3.3V. Ideal for a long lipo life is 3.4V-3.6V recovery voltage.

⚠️‼️⚠️Lipos tend to get damage to the front area (for me). That's why I often use a "lipo condom". That means I make a protector out of shrink tubing, foam and tape or 3D printing to protect the front end of the lipo.

⚠️‼️⚠️ I preheat my lipos to 40 degrees celcius for better perfomance (lower internal resistance) in my lipo preheater (you can find it on my channel). Only do this if you know what you are doing! It is dangerous!

⚠️‼️⚠️ Sometimes the usable (!) flight time for racing operations can be almost the same with smaller lipos. With my 380mah lipos I fly almost as long as with 450mah in full send racing mode. But with significantly better handling on narrower racetracks

⚠️‼️⚠️ I charge my lipos at around 2C charge rate (those that allow it in the manufacturer's information). As long as the lipos don't get warm when charging, it doesn't shorten their lifespan significantly in my experience. However, I wouldn't go above 3C.
